Director, Global Downstream Marketing - Transcatheter Mitral & T
As the Director of Global Downstream Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) Marketing, you will be responsible for boldly designing from the ground up and directing the commercial product marketing strategies for the emerging TMTT product portfolio globally at Edwards Lifesciences, the Global Leader in heart valve therapies. You will also be responsible for the creation of US Marketing strategies, in advance of a US launch - when appropriate.

You will ideate, create and lead execution of global downstream product marketing activities (launches, campaigns, initiatives) to support all of the emerging Edwards TMTT product therapies concurrently. You will collaborate globally with sales, training, and upstream marketing to ensure the market success of the TMTT therapies - as well as with our global regional marketing partners to create, harmonize and lead global messaging and commercial strategies.


+ Lead a team in the development and execution of product marketing strategies to achieve or exceed TMTT goals and objectives. This includes: launching new therapies, products and line extensions, managing product lifecycles, forecasting, establishing and defending price, etc.

+ Work with global sales teams to develop commercial plans and launch plans in conjunction and consultation with branding, training & operations that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

+ Lead product marketing activities to be consistent globally and partner with regional marketing teams to ensure appropriate implementation of commercial strategies.

+ Devise market research to support products, analyze sales and market trends, and synthesize results into relevant plans.

+ Create a marketing portfolio of messaging and materials, targeting Heart Teams as well as referrers and patients.

+ Track competitive activities, proactively develop key marketing campaigns, and work closely with regional marketing partners to understand evolving and changing market dynamics.

+ Identify and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, professional associations, and advisory boards.

+ Develop and deliver executive communications.

+ Effectively lead marketing talent development efforts to ensure required human resource capabilities are in place to successfully execute strategies.

+ Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.



**Experience requirements:**

+ A minimum of ten years relevant marketing experience is required, with a minimum of three years in a supervisory role.

+ A bachelor's degree is required, an MBA is preferred.

+ Must enjoy a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Must be comfortable in a complex environment. Must have the ability to lead multi-functional work teams.

+ Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement commercial strategies for a new therapy, convert these into tactical marketing plans (with Heart Team, referrer and patient audiences) and deliver results. Experience launching new therapies is required.

+ Strong leadership skills with an ability to set a vision, lead change and to mentor others; team-building experience is required.

+ Ability to develop strong relationships with key opinion leaders and global customers. Ability to develop strong relationships inside Edwards and with key external vendors.

+ Experience marketing first-to-market therapies, as well as me-too products.

+ Strong presence with a track record of positively influencing Sales Forces to action is required.

+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.

+ Travel up to 35% - including international travel.
