Marketing Manager
**General Description**
Business and functional leader responsible for (1) overall marketing objectives, strategies and plans to enable joint business growth targets; (2) key initiative development and internal/external sell in; (3) execution with excellences; (4) agency and 3rd party resource management; and (3) marketing budget planning, management and reconciliation. This role will develop all branding/marketing efforts, work with insights team to understand our target and determine the appropriate marketing channels to deliver on the business objectives. Responsibilities: Leads efforts to understand our customer/shopper. Develops marketing objectives, strategies and initiative plan. Manages marketing programs to support product introductions and business development. Manages product marketing, promotion, and advertising programs and materials for specific customer market channels. Manages and develops product branding and product promotional initiatives. Provides advertising, promotional materials, public relations forums, press releases, and product information in support of sales leadership for industry events, product announcements, and product promotions. Present marketing analysis to Samsung leadership and assist in developing the marketing strategy. Work with Sales, Product Management and Carriers to ensure Samsung revenue and profit goals are achieved. Creates the annual budget for the Marketing department. Has responsibility for the operational performance of the department. Directs the resolution of complex operational and organizational problems.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with +6 years of directly related experience is required. Prior experience in advertising, and project management required. Prior experience in a consumer electronics environment preferred. Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects. Read and interpret marketing documents, media materials, and contracts (or related documents) based on corporate legal and marketing standards and philosophy.
