VMware vCloud Director is the leading edge multi-tenant cloud software preferred by service providers today to build out such cross-cloud offerings.


**Role**


vCloud Director API and Applications team is responsible for developing API Frameworks, CLIs, SDKs, and Applications. We design intuitive interfaces for our products to enable adoption with ease of use. You will craft solutions for important problems in the Cloud space. You will work with exciting Containers and Kubernetes technology to unlock several business use-cases for vCloud Director. You will write high quality code along with test automation and be part of an agile team continuously delivering software to our cloud service providers. You will collaborate with other technologists with-in or outside the group for timely high quality work.

+ You will design and implement the software functionality along with a test driven approach.

+ You will deliver reliable and maintainable code and actively participate in code reviews

+ You will use analytical skills effectively for hands on problem solving


**Requirements**


+ Smart, Creative, and Driven

+ Effective communicator

+ Excellent programming expertise in one of these languages - Java, Python, and/or C++ 2 years of experience with some focus towards using and/or developing APIs, Toolkits, and Frameworks

+ B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering


**Preferred Skills**


+ Ability to be a full stack engineer

+ Knowledge of open source development

+ Knowledge of VMware products and Cloud technology space
