The Production Manager will be encharge of all the Fluid Systems operations for the Garden Grove, CA site, by ensuring the production of high performance Fluid Systems products with the quality, delivery, and cost to meet customer's requirements. This position will also assists in the manufacture of new products by managing a budget and working closely with engineering and other departments.The Production Manager will be responsible for daily supervision of department personnel, process improvements, and projects to maximize production yields.

The ideal candidates will posses a high EQ which willl be demonstrated by establishing an engaging and customer centric department while still improving operational performance. It is the responsibility of the Production Manager to ensure the development the talent in order to create a strong pipeline of talent for the future.


+ Manages/Leads all FLS manufacturing departments including responsibility for quality assurance, engineering, planning/supply chain and maintenance. Garden Grove, CA. Directs and coordinates the operation of all FLS production departments based on production quidelines, establishes priorities and production schedules.

+ Actively supports WCM within FLS departments and establishes department objectives based on the WCM management approach. Also, provides leadership for quality standards, production efficiency, training needs, continuous improvement/cost reductions,capex planning and execution scrap improvement,safety standards and environmental compliance.

+ Prepare operational plans and budgets and reports to appropriate Management on actual performance vs. plan.

+ Work closely with global FLS operations team members to execute the Strategic Plan

+ Maintains all necessary paperwork, records, communications SOP's and work instructions for the manufacturing operations along with communication to all necessary departments i.e. quality, maintenance, customer service etc

+ Participates in self-development and leading, training, development and coaching others.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline required

+ Master's Degree in Engineering discipline preferred

+ 7+ years of experience in manufacturing managing production required

+ 5+ years of experience in facility management and CAPEX required

+ 5+ years of experience supervising others required

+ Knowledge of Fluid Systems production required

+ Fostering a committed and collaborative team environment achieved through trust, accountability and creativity permitting both individual and team development, resulting in the creation of an agile workforce required

+ WCM Pillar Development preferred

+ Understanding CAPEX / P&L required

+ Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance to ensure efficient and safe operation of machinery and equipment required

+ Experience managing and working with outside contractors and vendors to ensure the overall safety of the facility required

+ Green Belt Certification / WCM Pillar Development preferred
