Senior EHS Engineer, Ergonomics
This is an exciting brand new opportunity to assist in the development of a robust manufacturing ergonomics program and continuous improvement solutions within a diverse and dynamic environment.


**Essential job functions include:**


+ Lead ergonomic risk assessment tool selection, deployment and execution within a manufacturing environment.

+ Collaborate and assist teams to conduct ergonomic risk assessments and identification of solutions.

+ Research, analyze and evaluate the design of products, processes and equipment within the workplace with a focus on ergonomics.

+ Drive ergonomic continuous improvement programs.

+ Monitor ergonomic injury trends, assist in the investigation of ergonomic injuries and develop recommendations for process improvements and employee training initiatives.

+ oDevelop and revise EHS training and written programs to ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations and standards.

+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:


**Qualifications:**


+ Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of related Industrial Ergonomics/EHS experience; Master's Degree with 3 years of Industrial Ergonomics/EHS experience required.

+ Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) or Certified Industrial Ergonomist (CIE), preferred.

+ Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.

+ Familiar with ISO/TS159.

+ Substantial understanding and knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements.

+ Strong documentation, communication and interpersonal relationship skills, including negotiating and relationship management skills.

+ Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.

+ Substantial understanding of processes and equipment used in assigned work.

+ Good leadership skills and ability to influence change.

+ Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality.

+ Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.

+ Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects.

+ Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
